First in a seven-part workshop series explorating of the making of socialities, with neuroqueering approaches leading the way. Hosted by shy*play, this gathering experiments with reshaping spatial conditions so that space does not dictate how relations unfold; instead, relations emerge through its collective making. shy*play invites bodyminds who have had enough of, or cannot perform, centrality—the assumption of a “right” way of being and relating that places certain performances at the centre and the human as the measure of all experience. They also extend an invitation to those that are curious about how sociality can unfold when spatiality is shaped by neuroqueer approaches and sensibilities.
Participants require no prior experience with movement and installation. Drinks and snacks will be offered throughout.
